Last week, Ms. Daher-Quinn's Life Skills Class had an amazing hands-on learning experience exploring the ecology of our back bays! They cruised out of Whale Creek Marina on a pontoon boat, went crabbing, and wrapped up the day with a fun scavenger hunt. What a great way to connect with nature and learn outside the classroom!

September is Suicide Prevention Month.
Thank you to the Ocean City Free Public Library, Ocean City Education Foundation, Ocean City Wellness Alliance, and the Ocean City Board of Education for bringing Kevin Hines in to speak to OCHS students today. He shared his story and spread the message to our students on how to live mentally well.

• Congratulations to the OCHS Marching Band on a fantastic performance at the Clearview High School Marching Band Competition! The band competed in a larger division and improved their score by 2 points over last year, taking home 3rd place! Go Band!
