Last Friday, OCPS proudly partnered with Ocean City’s Shade Tree Committee for a special tree dedication ceremony 🌳
Thanks to their generous donation, 16 Arborvitaes and 2 Redbud trees were planted along the Primary School garden fence line. These new additions will help beautify the space while creating a greener, more welcoming environment for our students to learn and grow.
We’re grateful for this collaboration and excited to watch these trees flourish for years to come!

This past Saturday, Mrs. Naplacic hosted a Community Garden Day to help get the Helping Hands Garden ready for the season.
Students, staff, and families came together to clean up beds, turn soil, and prepare the space for planting. We loved seeing our school community working side by side!

Here are a few highlights: One of their parents visited to read a story about autism and guided them through an activity focused on celebrating neurodiversity. They also learned about other disabilities, including visual impairment, and had the opportunity to explore braille throughout the school!
