Heather serves as a Clerical Aide and is most often found in our school library, where she helps create a welcoming and organized space for students to explore books and develop a love of reading. Her positive attitude, helpful nature, and dedication to supporting our students and school community make a difference every day. We are grateful for everything she does for Ocean City Primary School!

Congratulations to our February Students of the Month!
We had an incredible start to Read Across America Week here at Ocean City Primary School! Our classrooms were filled with excitement as members of our wonderful community joined us to share their love of reading with our students.
A very special thank you to the Ocean City Free Public Library for their extraordinary generosity in donating Mo Willems books to every single student. Because of you, our children will continue the joy of reading long after this week ends!
We are so grateful to all of our Community guest readers who took time out of their day to make this event so meaningful.

Celebrating beloved children’s author Mo Willems and the joy of reading!
Throughout the week, students will participate in fun, themed days designed to inspire a love of books and bring stories to life. Each day’s theme is listed on the graphic below — be sure to check it out so your child can join in the fun!
We can’t wait to celebrate reading together and encourage our students to read “Mo” books than ever before!
All Ocean City Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 23rd. Stay warm and safe.
Dr. Sheikh shared a fun lesson about “sugar bugs” and showed how brushing and flossing keep our teeth strong. Students even took part in a hands-on demo using a giant toothbrush and floss!
Every preschooler went home with a dental-care goodie bag to encourage healthy habits.

Yesterday, our students were treated to an amazing assembly with Jason Frazer, Meteorologist, former Co-Host at FOX Weather, and Adjunct Professor at Fordham University!
During The Storm Show, students didn’t just learn about weather, they became the storm.
This 60-minute, high-energy experience blends science, music, and movement so there’s no sitting, no zoning out, just science that sticks!
