Yesterday, our Ocean City Primary School preschool students, teachers and families gathered for a wonderful Friendsgiving Breakfast!
It was such a joy to see our littlest turkeys and their families sharing smiles, laughter, and delicious food brought in by everyone. Moments like these remind us how special our school community truly is! Full of gratitude, friendship, and togetherness.

This week, the OCPTA hosted a fun and hands-on Shoe Tying Clinic at the Primary School! Our young learners practiced their skills with help from some amazing volunteers, including members of the OCHS National Honor Society and Key Club, as well as our local heroes from the OCFD and OCPD.
A huge thank you to our incredible PTA for organizing this wonderful event and to all the volunteers who helped make it such a success!

Today at OCPS we honored our veterans with our Pastries with Patriots event. Students, staff, and families came together to share treats, stories, and gratitude for the brave men and women who have served our country. We are grateful for our community and the heroes who joined us today.

Our Ocean City Primary School teachers and staff had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween this past Friday! The costumes were creative, colorful, and full of school spirit — bringing big smiles to all our students! 🧡✨

We had some spooky fun at the Ocean City Primary School Halloween Parade! Our students and staff showed off their creative costumes and big smiles! Happy Halloween!










Our OCPS Pre-K students had the best time at R&J Farms exploring the pumpkin patch, enjoying a hayride, and taking in all the fall fun! Smiles, giggles, and pumpkins galore — it was a perfect autumn day for our little learners!









Reminder: All schools have early dismissal this Friday, Oct. 31.

Next week, our school will celebrate Red Ribbon Week — a time to focus on making healthy choices, showing kindness, and being our best selves!

Yesterday in Mrs. Maurer's Multicultural Club, we had special presenters: Kaj and his mom, Ms. Kohr. They taught us some Halloween sign language, shared a special treat, and played two games using the signs they showed us. What a fun time it was, learning sign language!



This past Friday, OCPS students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade made their way to the High School track for the annual OCPTA Fun Walk! It was a fantastic afternoon of walking, cheering, and community spirit, all to raise funds for the OCPTA and the incredible programs they provide for our schools!

Our first OCPS staff luncheon was a great success! The food was amazing, and it was such a pleasure spending time together and enjoying great company.

Our Preschoolers had an amazing time at today’s Fun Walk fundraiser to support the OCPTA! The smiles, laughter, and energy were contagious as our youngest students made their way around the course set-up by Coach Calhoun and Mrs. Merritt!

The Ocean City School District, in collaboration with Mainland Regional, Greater Egg Harbor Regional, Egg Harbor Township, and Cape May County Special Services School Districts will be hosting their second annual Cape Atlantic League (CAL) Unified Sports 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Proceeds benefit the CAL Unified Sports Program, fostering and promoting social inclusion between students with and without disabilities through shared sports experiences.
