We loved welcoming OCPS preschool parent Dr. Khurrum Sheikh from Aesthetic and Comprehensive Dentistry to teach our young learners about good oral health! 🦷
Dr. Sheikh shared a fun lesson about “sugar bugs” and showed how brushing and flossing keep our teeth strong. Students even took part in a hands-on demo using a giant toothbrush and floss!
Every preschooler went home with a dental-care goodie bag to encourage healthy habits.

Yesterday, our students were treated to an amazing assembly with Jason Frazer, Meteorologist, former Co-Host at FOX Weather, and Adjunct Professor at Fordham University!
During The Storm Show, students didn’t just learn about weather, they became the storm.
This 60-minute, high-energy experience blends science, music, and movement so there’s no sitting, no zoning out, just science that sticks!

Last week, our OCPS students had a great time at our Shoe Tying Clinic! They did an amazing job learning this important skill, and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible community.
A big thank you to the OCPTA for coordinating this wonderful event, and a huge shoutout to our volunteers from OCPD, OCFD, the High School Key Club, Honor Society, and our amazing parent volunteers.
It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours!
