Last week at our 21st Century Skills STEM Camp, 7th and 8th grade students explored Earth's history through hands-on fossil activities, a special presentation by Rutgers University's Dr. Pletka, and the creation of their own museum exhibits. The week concludes with an exciting fossil dig at Rowan University's Edelman Fossil Park. We are proud of their curiosity and enthusiasm for science!

As we look back on June, we had a lot of exciting events taking place at OCIS! One highlight was the 8th Grade Paper Roller Coaster Design & Engineering Competition. Students put their creativity, problem-solving, and engineering skills to the test as they designed and built paper roller coasters. It was a fun, hands-on learning experience that showcased their innovation, teamwork, and perseverance.
Congratulations to our 4th Marking Period Honor Roll Students! Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence throughout the school year are truly commendable and wish you a safe, fun, and well-deserved summer!

Yesterday, we celebrated the Ocean City Intermediate School Class of 2026 as they close one chapter and begin another. Over the years, these students have grown academically, socially, and personally, creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
As they move on to high school, we wish the, the courage to embrace new challenges and the determination to reach their goals. Congratulations, 8th graders! We are proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see what the future holds for each of you.

We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, positive attitude, and the outstanding character they demonstrate each day. Students should dress according to the dress code and outdoor setting. (Ex: sundresses, skirts, dress pants, nice shorts, polo shirts, button-down, collared shirts, and flat shoes.) Please do not bring artificial noisemakers, horns, etc. to the ceremony.
