In the Dixie Howell Tournament, OCIS finished second, falling to Galloway Township.

OCIS defeated Upper Township and Middle Township to advance to the finals. Unfortunately, Ocean City fell short when facing Galloway Township in the Championship game. Congratulations!

Students from the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades chorus and band have been preparing for a bit of fun competition. Each group has been decorating music stands that reflect the holiday season. Check them out below!

Sneak peek alert! Our OCIS staff are hard at work transforming their doors into festive masterpieces for our door decorating contest! Judging this year will be our retirees and OCPD!

Attention 8th Grade Parents: Create a special “8th Grade Recognition” ad for your student in the 2026 yearbook. Add a special message to your child for them to look back on for years to come. The recognition ads cost $35 and the early bird deadline is January 12, 2026. The price will increase after this date.

This week, Student Council will be hosting a Pet Donation Drive for the animals at the Ocean City Humane Society from December 15th to 19th. Send in your items with your students by this Friday. See the attached wish list.

The OC PTA is hosting a Winter Social for all 4th and 5th Grade students, tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16 from 5-8pm at the Ocean City Community Center.  Please see the attached flyer for more details and make sure to RSVP via the google link provided.

Winter sport tryouts have begun! Boys basketball are today and tomorrow after school. Girls basketball are December 1st & 2nd and Wrestling starts December 3rd. Please check with nurse Cantwell to make sure your physical is up to date.
