Get ready for some football! 🏈 The OC Jr. Raiders offer competitive tackle football for Pre-K to 8th grade, and cheerleading for boys and girls in the same age range. The coaches, who deeply involved in the Ocean City community, focus on safety, skill development, and teaching values like sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-discipline. Week 3 of OCIS summer programs wrapped up with many fun events for the students! They had the opportunity to make lemonade, practice handstands, and the summer STEM program even visited the Woodbine Airport. What an eventful and exciting week for students and staff!

OCIS officially wrapped up week 2 of the summer programs! Students in the Summer 21st Century Challenge Program enjoyed a visit from the Margate Terrapin Rescue Project to learn about the importance of conservation of local wildlife. The group can't wait to see what's in store for the upcoming week!

Last week marked the start of summer programs at OCIS! Students and staff had a great week kicking off the summer season. Stay tuned for the many exciting events and activities planned throughout the upcoming weeks!

Our 8th grade class took one last pass down the halls of OCIS - complete with their own farewell clap-out by fellow students and their favorite teachers and staff. Students were celebrated for all their achievements throughout their time at the intermediate school and wished best of luck in high school!

Our graduating seniors went back to Ocean City Intermediate School for one day to celebrate a long-delayed milestone: Their 8th grade “clap-out” they didn’t get to have during the pandemic. It was an emotional day as the students reunited with their former teachers and received time capsules and special surprises.
