We had a wonderful time at Back to School Night at Ocean City Primary School!
It was great seeing so many of our families last night, meeting with teachers, and sharing a special evening together. Thank you to everyone who came out and continues to be such an important part of our school community!

Don’t Fall Behind – Be Here! This October, students at OCPS and OCIS with excellent attendance throughout the month will be entered in a drawing to win a gift card. One winner per grade level will be selected in early November. Regular attendance is key to student achievement and success!

SEPT. 25: Youth basketball players can score pointers from Fairleigh Dickinson University Women’s Basketball Coach and Ocean City local Stephanie Gaitley and the FDU Knights!
A free clinic and team scrimmage will take place at OCIS on Sept. 25. Boys and girls from K–8th grade are eligible. The clinic takes place from 3:30 - 5 p.m. and the Intra-Squad Scrimmage will be from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Former CAL stars Reese Downey from Absegami High School and Jada Elston from Middle Township High School assist with the event. Donations will be accepted to support the Mikenzie Helphenstine Memorial Garden at OCPS.

Welcome, preschoolers! OCPS hosted Preschool Orientation last week, giving incoming students and their families a chance to meet members of the preschool team, visit their classrooms, and explore some of the OCPS learning centers. We can't wait to see everyone for the first day of school!
New Superintendent Dr. Latwis kicked off the first day back with a fun raffle inviting teachers and staff to share advice and feedback for building a strong, lasting future in Ocean City. Winners received gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses, donated by the Ocean City Education Foundation. The activity reinforced Dr. Latwis’ message - he’s here for the long haul. ⚓️
