What an incredible year it has been at Ocean City Primary School! As we wrap up the school year, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing faculty, staff, students, and families. Your dedication, support, and positivity made this year one to remember.
From the very first day to today’s final wave goodbye, we’ve shared so many moments of growth, learning, and joy.
A special congratulations and best of luck to our 3rd graders as they move on to the Intermediate School—you will be missed more than you know!
Wishing everyone a happy, safe, and sunshine-filled summer! We can’t wait to welcome our returning and new students back in the fall!

Yesterday, May 27th, the Ocean City Primary School held its annual 3rd Grade Spelling Bee, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible effort, courage, and talent shown by every student who participated.
A special congratulations to our top three spellers:
🏆 1st Place: Lincoln Murray – Mrs. Eget's Class
🥈 2nd Place: Bridget McGlaughlin-Evans – Mrs. Naplacic's Class
🥉 3rd Place: Ford Andrews – Mrs. Naplacic's Class
Thank you to our wonderful judges, dedicated 3rd grade teachers, and the incredible PTA for making this event possible. Your support helps create lasting memories and inspires a love of learning in our students!





Please join OCSD this Memorial Day weekend in honoring military members who made the ultimate sacrifice. OCSD will hold a staff in-service day and be closed for students on Friday, May 23, and will be closed Monday, May 26, for the observance of Memorial Day.

On Thursday, May 22nd, OCPS 3rd graders performed their spring music show, "Our Future is Bright" under the direction of Ms. Julianne Smith, music teacher. Students sang, performed a dance called Bachata, and played instruments for their families and friends to show off their hard work over the last few months. Congratulations to all of 3rd grade on a fabulous performance!









June will be here before you know it— and with it comes extra help through New Jersey’s Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Program for Kids. Eligible children will receive a Summer EBT card by mail, which can be used to purchase $120 worth of food at participating retailers.
